Adding locations to map
- Sign in to account
- User Name: adminsos Password: **
- Click on the “My Content” tab
- Click on the folder “adminsos” if the page is blank
- Click on “Historic Housing”
- Click on “Open in Map Viewer”
- Click on “Edit” – This will open the “Add Features” window
- To add a new property, first click on the “Stickpin” icon, then
- Click on the location of the map where you would like the pin placed
- You should see a dialog box similar to the one below
- Next, change the title to read “Historic Housing”
- Click on the link icon
- Add the URL of the page including “http:” as example: “http://saveourshotguns.org/shotgun-houses/166-6/” * Next add the description: “Click Here for More Information” * BE SURE to click set! * Click on the tab “Change Symbol”
* Scroll down and select the red dot, leaving the size at 32
* Click OK
* Click close
